The Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students (BUGS) Program works with children from under-served Baltimore City communities throughout the year with an after-school program as well as a summer program. Willis Brandon
My name is Willis Brandon and I am 10 years old. I live in the Latrobe Projects. I was born on April 14, 1997 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have one brother, his name is Tyquan Brandon. He is four years old. My mothers name is Emma Wilson and she was also born in Johns Hopkins Hospital. She also has lived in Baltimore all of her life on the East side. My fathers name is Willis Brandon. He was born at Johns Hopkins Hospital too, he was raised in East Baltimore.

Now, I will talk a little more about myself. My hobbies are football, baseball and basketball. I enjoy reading books like Starting a Business and Henry Wells and William G. Fargo. My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. My favorite music is Rap, R & B and Club. I enjoy scary movies and funny ones too. My favorite subject is Math and Reading. My favorite food is Broccoli and Cheese with Chicken.

My favorite thing to do when I am not at school or BUGS is to go out side and play. My goal is to go to college and to get an education. I dream to go to the NFL and play for the Ravens. I want to be a football player when I grow up.

"Imagine a Place..."

"Imagine a Place..." is a short video presentation designed to be a portable visual introduction to the BUGS Program. Soon to be released on DVD, this tool will help us to communicate the nature of the BUGS Program to students, teachers, funders and our community.
